Grand Prix of Munich

The Munich Grand Prix is the most highly endowed competition at the Munich Indoors. It will be the last regular test of the tournament on Sunday afternoon. This is an international jumping competition with jump-offs over obstacles up to 1.55 meters high. In 2019, the Show Jumping Grand Prix was endowed with around € 100,000.

From 2002, the second season of the Riders Tour , the Munich Grand Prix was the last special stage of this tournament series. It is an international jumping competition with two rounds . With the aim of aligning the Munich Indoors more towards Bavaria and an international field of participants, the tournament organizers and the Riders Tour parted ways in 2019.

World Cup vaulting

The Munich Indoors had been part of the FEI Vaulting World Cup since 2010, the first vaulting World Cup season . The two freestyle tests, special tests for women and men, will be held on Friday (previously on Sunday or Saturday evening). In 2013, a pas de deux was added to the program, which is also part of the Vaulting World Cup.

With the 2015/2016 season, the Vaulting World Cup only had one World Cup tournament per nation, for Germany the partner horse is Leipzig . Vaulting was thus eliminated from the Munich Indoors program.
