NGC 3467 is a Lenticular Galaxy of the Hubble-type S0 and the constellation Leo on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 419 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 130,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 3466 , NGC 3476 , NGC 3477 , NGC 3490 , among others .
The object was discovered on January 18, 1828 by John Herschel .
