NGC 3457 = NGC 3460 is a dwarf galaxy of the Hubble type S? in the constellation Leo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 48 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 15,000 light-years across.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 3454 , NGC 3455 , NGC 3461 , IC 656 .
The object was discovered on March 25, 1827 Francis Baily .
