NGC 3476 = NGC 3480 is an elliptical galaxy of the Hubble type E1 and the constellation Leo on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 460 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 110,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 3466 , NGC 3467 , NGC 3477 , NGC 3490 .

The object was discovered by Albert Marth on March 25, 1865 .
