NGC 5105 is a 12.1 likes bright barred spiral galaxy of Hubble type SBc in the constellation Virgo to the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 125 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 75,000 ly.

The Type II supernova SN 2007W was observed here.
