The Narrenring Main-Neckar eV, NMN for short , is the umbrella organization for all carnival clubs in the region around North Baden , Franconia , Hesse and Württemberg .
history
The Narrenring Main - Neckar was founded on February 5th, 1951. In 1989 the Narrenring Museum was opened in the Zehntscheune in Buchen with documentation of the carnival customs in the eastern Odenwald , in the building land and in the Taubertal . Due to the location of the fool's ring, there are many mixtures of the Rhenish carnival and the Alemannic carnival.

The Narrenring Main-Neckar is a coordinating umbrella organization for 43 carnival clubs and is also a regional association in the Bund Deutscher Carneval .
Every two years (until 1957 every year) there is a large meeting of fools with a parade and a meeting of fools' rings. In the years without a fool's meeting there is still an opening meeting of the fool's ring.
The Narrenring Main-Neckar, together with the associations of Osterburken and Lauda in Lauda-Königshofen, organizes an annual guard dance tournament for carnival dance sport . This is a qualifying tournament for the South German championship in carnival dance sport. In 2017 the Narrenring Main-Neckar celebrated its 66th anniversary.
