Bremecke-Quellrinnsal nature reserve

The nature reserve Bremecke-Quellrinnsal with a size of 10  ha is located north of Elpe in the urban area of Olsberg in the Hochsauerlandkreis . The area was designated as a nature reserve (NSG) by the Hochsauerlandkreis in 2004 with the Olsberg landscape plan .

Area description

The NSG is the beech forest with a spring trickle and up to 8 m high ledge.

Protection purpose

In the NSG, the forest area there and the stream are to be protected. As with all nature reserves in Germany, the protection designation pointed out that the area became a nature reserve “because of the rarity, special character and beauty of the area”.
