Feuchtbrach complex near Heinrichsdorf

The Feuchtbrach complex near Heinrichsdorf nature reserve with a size of 0.8  ha is located south of Heinrichsdorf in the urban area of Olsberg in the Hochsauerland district . The area was designated as a nature reserve (NSG) by the Hochsauerlandkreis in 2004 with the Olsberg landscape plan .

Area description

The NSG is a wet fallow area with pools and willow bushes.

Protection purpose

The wet fallow area in the NSG is to be protected with a pond. As with all nature reserves in Germany, the protection designation pointed out that the area became a nature reserve “because of the rarity, special character and beauty of the area”.
