Estonia took part in the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris with a delegation of 37 male athletes in 26 competitions in five sports.
The Estonian athletes won one gold, one silver and four bronze medals. The only Estonian Olympic champion was the wrestler Eduard Pütsep , who prevailed in the Greco-Roman style in the bantamweight division . Alfred Neuland won the silver medal in the weightlifting middleweight division . Bronze went to wrestler Roman Steinberg in the middleweight division, weightlifter Jaan Kikas in the middleweight division and Harald Tammer in the heavyweight division, and athlete Aleksander Klumberg , who finished third in the decathlon .
The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the athlete Jüri Lossmann .
