Pau is an Italian commune ( comune ) with 294 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Oristano in western Sardinia . The municipality is located about 22 kilometers southeast of Oristano at the Parco Geominerario Storico ed Ambientale della Sardegna on the western volcanic shield of the extinct Monte Arci .
