Tournament results

The top 24 of the European Order of Merit (the prize money ranking list of the 6 European PTC tournaments), the finalists of the Asian PTC tournament and the top 6 (excluding the already qualified players) of the combined Order of Merit (the prize money ranking list of the 6 European and the an Asian PTC tournament), qualified for the final tournament. In previous years, all games, including the final, like all PTC tournaments, were played in Best-of-7 mode . This time this only applies up to the quarter-finals; 6 win frames are required for victory in the semi-finals and 10 win frames in the final. This also extends the tournament by one day.

The opening round took place on March 22nd and 23rd, the second and quarter finals on March 24th and 25th. The two semi-finals were then played on Saturday, the final on Sunday.

In the week before the tournament, the world number one Mark Selby announced that he would not take part in the tournament. Matthew Selt got his starting place .
