The presidential election in Namibia 2009 took place on November 27th and 28th, 2009 together with the parliamentary elections. Namibians at sea and abroad were able to vote on November 13, 2009. It was Hifikepunye Pohamba to President of Namibia elected.

Around one million Namibians were called to vote, and they could cast their votes at 997 fixed and 2,213 mobile voting stations.

Election results

The official final result was announced on December 4, 2009.
