history

The place as well as the neighboring places, which end in -hof (s), probably belong to the Carolingian settlement. They could have been a side extension of the Königsmark Riedfeld, which was left exclusively to the landlords , in this case a Reginhard. The place is said to have been founded around 741. The place, however, in 1361/64 Urbar the burgrave Nuremberg first mentioned by name. The Fraisch exercised the burgrave office of Dachsbach . The burgrave was the landlord of 5 34 hubs , 11 12 fiefs and 3 farms. The 16 acres of fields were only cleared during the time of the castle count . The Birkenfeld monastery was entitled to half the hay tenth . The small tithe belonged from 1421 to Wilhelm von Abenberg, who was given to the lords of Crailsheim zu Mainsondheim as a man loan from 1466 . In Salbuch the now margravial Office Dachsbach the year 1434 8 goods are listed with 14 for "Rinhartzhoffen" 3 / 4 acre fields and 25 1 / 4 day's work meadows. There was also a farmstead and two houses with barns. The St. Kilian's Church, which was a branch of St. Johannes Baptist and Laurentius in Gutenstetten, has been attested since the 15th century. In 1574 there were 32 properties in the village. During the Thirty Years' War , for fear of attacks by marauding mercenaries, the inhabitants temporarily hid in the forest. From 1634 to 1640 Reinhardshofen only had four inhabited properties.

At the end of the 18th century there were 27 properties in Reinhardshofen. The high court and the village and community rule exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth caste and jurisdiction office Dachsbach . The landlords were the Principality of Bayreuth (19 properties; Dachsbach caste and jurisdiction office: 1 inn, 2 Huben , 3 Halbhuben, 3 estates, 2 Gütlein, 2 houses, 2 little houses, 1 community shepherd's house; Monastery office Birkenfeld : 1 Gülthof, 1 Häckersgütlein; monastery office Münchsteinach : 1 estate), the Rauschenberg manor (4 estates, 3 Sölden ) and the parish of Oberhöchstädt (1 estate).

In 1810 Reinhardshofen came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the community edict , Reinhardshofen was assigned to the Gutenstetten tax district in 1811 . In 1813 it was assigned to the rural community of Pahres . With the second community edict (1818) the rural community Reinhardshofen was formed, to which Rappoldshofen belonged. It was subordinate to the regional court Neustadt an der Aisch in administration and jurisdiction and in the financial administration to the Rentamt Neustadt an der Aisch (renamed in 1920 to Finanzamt Neustadt an der Aisch ). Until 1848, however, 7 properties were subject to voluntary jurisdiction by the Rauschenberg Patrimonial Court . From 1862 Reinhardshofen was administered by the Neustadt an der Aisch district office ( renamed Neustadt an der Aisch district in 1938 ). The jurisdiction remained with the district court Neustadt an der Aisch until 1879, from 1880 district court Neustadt an der Aisch . The municipality had an area of 6.614 km².

On January 1, 1972, Reinhardshofen was incorporated into Gutenstetten as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
