Royal International Horse Show 2009

The Royal International Horse Show , also RIHS , is  Great Britain's Nations Cup show jumping competition .

The tournament takes place annually in July on the grounds of the All England Jumping Course in Hickstead .

history

The first Royal International Horse Show was held at the Olympia Grand Hall in London in 1907 . The tournament was held at Wembley Stadium and Birmingham for some time and has been held in Hickstead since 1992.

Nations Cup

The Great Britain Nations Cup takes place on Friday afternoons. It was a Samsung Super League exam from the start of the series and is still part of the FEI Nations Cup .

The test is a jumping competition with two rounds and jump-off over 1.60 meters. In 2018, the examination was endowed with € 200,000.

King Georges V Gold Cup

The King Georges V Gold Cup is the Grand Prix of the Royal International Horse Show. The sponsor of the test, which is advertised as a jumping competition with two rounds over 1.60 meters, is Longines . In 2018, the exam was endowed with € 150,000, five years earlier it was worth € 200,000.
