Johan Sætre (born January 5, 1952 in Trysil ) is a former Norwegian ski jumper .

Career

As an active jumper, he was Norwegian champion nine times in the 1970s and 80s. ( Normal hill : 1974–1977, 1979 and 1980; large hill : 1976, 1977 and 1980). He started for the IL Trysilgutten association . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 1982 Sætre won gold with the team. His best placement in a World Cup competition was first place in jumping in 1981 in Gstaad ( Switzerland ).

In 1981 Sætre was awarded the Holmenkollen Medal for his achievements .
