Springbok Series
The Springbok Series was a sports car racing series that was held in southern Africa from 1966 in the winter months . In 1973 it was discontinued after two races due to the oil crisis and was not revived.

The races took place from November to January, with the Kyalami 9 Hours traditionally marking the start of the season. The other races usually lasted 3 hours. The racing calendar reached its greatest extent in 1970 and 1971 with 6 races each (all the routes listed below except the Prince George Circuit).
