Stefan Kaminski

Stefan Kaminski (born June 6, 1974 in Dresden ) is a German actor , voice actor , audio book speaker and author . His best-known roles are the Joker from Suicide Squad and from the DC Extended Universe as well as Kermit the Frosch , to whom he lent his voice in the German versions.

Career

From 1996 Kaminski worked, among other things, as an author and spokesman for the children's editorial team Zappelduster (Radio Brandenburg, RBB ) and as a presenter and music journalist for the metal show Stahlwerk ( Radio Fritz , RBB). From 1999 to 2003 he completed his acting studies at the Ernst Busch Academy for Dramatic Art in Berlin. In 2001 he first appeared at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin , where he worked with directors such as Jürgen Kruse, Dimiter Gotscheff and Leonhard Koppelmann. In 2004 his radio play theater format Kaminski ON AIR was created there.

Stefan Kaminski is also known as the dubbing voice of Kermit, the frog (since 2012) and as the rat Marvi Hämmer from the audio book and TV series of the same name (on KI.KA and ZDF ).

In 2004 the TV production Marvi Hämmer presented National Geographic World was nominated for the Grimme Prize . In 2006 he received the German Record Critics' Prize 2006 for the audio book production Wir pfeifen auf den Gurkenkönig by Christine Nöstlinger. In 2009 Stefan Kaminski was nominated for the German Audio Book Prize for the audio book production Motel Life by Willy Vlautin . Since then, Stefan Kaminski has recorded well over 200 published audio books across all genres. For the DVD box Kaminski ON AIR: The Ring of the Nibelung , he received the German Record Critics' Prize in the 2013 Wagner Year in the “Border Crossing” category, and in 2017 his reading of Im Labyrinth der Lügen was recognized as the best children's audio book in the 2017 German Audio Book Prize.
