Tetín (German Tetin ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 13 kilometers west of Dvůr Králové nad Labem and belongs to the Okres Jičín .
geography
Tetín is located between the valleys of the Bystřice and Dubovec rivers at the southwestern foot of the Zvičinský hřbet ridge . The mountain Dubovec (434 m) rises to the northwest and the Skalka (412 m) to the north .
Neighboring towns are Vřesník and Bezník in the north, Borek and Želejov in the north-east, Vidoň in the east, Koleja, Vlkanov and Miletínek in the south-east, Dobeš in the south, Paseky and Černín in the south-west, Dolní Nová Ves and Lázně Bělohrad in the west and Brvík-west and Brdíkw .
history
Tetín was first mentioned in a document in 1543.
After the abolition of patrimonial Tetín formed from 1850 with the districts Vidoň and Vlkanov a municipality in the district of Hradec Králové and from 1900 in the district of Nová Paka. In 1921 Vlkanov lost the status of a district. In the 1930s the community came to Okres Hořice and in 1961 to Okres Jičín. Tetín was incorporated into Miletín on April 30, 1976 . The parish has existed again since November 24, 1990.

The municipality of Tetín consists of the districts Tetín ( Tetin ) and Vidoň ( Widon ) and the settlements Falgon, Koleje and Vlkanov.
