In 1382 Ostroměř was owned by Ješek Kdulinec von Ostroměř, whose descendants sold it to Zdislav Dobřenský von Dobřenice at the end of the 15th century . From this it was acquired in 1529 by Johann Sendražský von Sendražice , who a little later left it to Hermann von Rokytnik. From his descendants it was bought by Wenceslaus Ostromířský von Rokytnik auf Bitowan, who was expropriated because of his participation in the class uprising of 1618 after the Battle of White Mountain . The possessions acquired Albrecht von Wallenstein , who divided the small rule. He incorporated part of his rule Hořitz , the other part of the Holowous estate. Heinrich Ernst de Carmes acquired the Hořitz part in 1665 and also incorporated it into the Holowous estate. In 1680 his son Ferdinand de Carmes sold the entire rule to the Walditz Carthusians. After their order had been dissolved by the Josephine reforms , the religious fund took over ownership of the order. In 1827 Ostroměř acquired Ferdinand von Trautmannsdorff , who united it with the Kumburg rule .
