The tenth season of the singing casting show The Voice of Germany is to be broadcast from October 8, 2020. Thore Schölermann and, for the first time, Annemarie Carpendale , who will represent Lena Gercke , who is on maternity leave, will moderate . The jury includes the singer and songwriter Mark Forster , the singer-songwriter Nico Santos , the duo Stefanie Kloß and Yvonne Catterfeld and the duo Rea Garvey and Samu Haber . As in the previous season, there will be a fifth coach - Michael Schulte - who can give some candidates who have left the club a second chance in each phase via the "comeback stage".
First phase: the blind auditions
The castings for the tenth season took place in February 2020, but will not be shown on television. The blind auditions were again recorded in the Adlershof studio in Berlin from July 17 to 22, 2020 and are to be broadcast on television from October 8, 2020.
Second phase: the battle round
The Battle Round is to be recorded in Berlin from September 11th to 13th, 2020.
