Career
society
Raschl comes from Düsseldorf and played in his childhood, among others, for the SG Unterrath district club. In addition, from the age of eleven he enjoyed his football training in the youth training centers of Borussia Mönchengladbach and Fortuna Düsseldorf .
At the age of 15 he moved to Borussia Dortmund , in whose youth teams he has been active since then. In the A-youth, Raschl was appointed team captain by trainer Benjamin Hoffmann in the 2018/19 season , after he had already held this position in the U16 and U17 and ultimately won the championship title with the team. During his time at the Dortmund sports boarding school , Raschl successfully passed his Abitur exams .
For the 2019/20 Bundesliga season , Raschl and goalkeeper Luca Unbehaun received a professional contract valid until June 2022 and was integrated into the professional squad during preparation. In addition to his calmness in the game and his running strength, the variable opportunities in the midfield had spoken in advance for him, who, among other things, named the Dortmund "six" Axel Witsel as a role model. The midfielder took part in the summer training camp in Bad Ragaz and on the USA tour and was used in friendly matches. For the A-Juniors, Raschl was only active in the UEFA Youth League , in which Borussia reached the play-offs as runner-up in the table and were later eliminated by Derby County . Furthermore, Raschl was on the field in ten first round matches for the regional league team , in the second half of the season another five followed, in which he was able to contribute one goal and one template .
On August 3, 2019, the midfielder won the DFL Supercup as part of the professional squad with BVB and was in the first team's Bundesliga squad for the first time in the 179th Revierderby at the end of October of the same year . After further nominations, the midfielder came on the field after 65 minutes in the 0: 4 on the last matchday against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim .
