Ursula Michelis (born July 25, 1946 in Waldbröl ) is a German actress .

Career

First Michelis began studying German , English and theater studies and then taught for many years at the Montessori high school in Cologne-Bickendorf . After the birth of her third son, however, she decided to pursue a new professional path and began training as an actor, which she completed from 1984 to 1987 at the Cologne Theater School. She then visited the J. Millo Acting Studio and the Actors Studio W. Lott from 1987 to 1989 .

This was followed by various theater and television engagements. She was mainly on stage at Cologne theaters, but also took part in national tours, for example from 1995 with the play Mirad, a boy from Bosnia . For the role of Fazila , which she presented in it, Michelis won first prize at the theaterzwang festival in 1994 . In addition, she appeared in many well-known plays such as The Petty Bourgeois Wedding , Nathan the Wise , Antigone , Hamlet or A Midsummer Night's Dream .
