The Verkehrsverbund Vogtland (VVV) is a transport association in the south-west of Saxony . The network area covers the area of ​​the Vogtlandkreis .

As a 100% subsidiary, the Vogtland Transport Association performs the tasks of the Vogtland Public Transport Association (ZVV) . As part of EgroNet , he is also responsible for coordinating cross-border local rail passenger transport to Bavaria , Thuringia and the Czech Republic .

PlusBus

On October 13, 2019, the Vogtland transport association introduced the PlusBus . It runs every hour from Monday to Friday, including during the holidays. On Saturdays min. with six trips and on Sundays min. with four journeys in both directions, but mostly every two hours. There are coordinated connections to and from trains and buses.

On June 13, 2016, the transport association announced that it would change its corporate design . In the future, the logo of the umbrella brand of the Vogtland Tourism Association will be used, with the addition of "Transport" added. The association is doing without its previous logo and wants to make the Vogtland region better known and strengthen it.

Local public transport association Vogtland

The special purpose association for local public transport in Vogtland (ZVV) is the authority responsible for public transport in the Vogtland district.
