The list of coaches at VfB Lübeck names all coaches who have been responsible for the first men's team at VfB Lübeck since 1945. In addition to the period in which the coach worked for VfB, the number of games, wins, draws, defeats, goals, goals conceded, points (converted into the three-point rule) and the points per game are specified under were scored or played by the coach; the data relate exclusively to league games and thus exclude friendship, cup or promotion games. If data is unknown, the corresponding field is not filled out. The abbreviations in the header have the following meanings:
- A (term of office) : Indicates the number of times a coach has trained the club over a continuous period of time.
- S (wins), U (draws), N (losses) : Indicates how many competitive games played in the league under this coach were won or lost or ended in a draw.
- GT (goals conceded) : Shows how many goals were conceded under the coach in the recorded games.
- PpS (points per game) : Indicates how many points were won on average under a coach per recorded game. To do this, the number of points calculated according to the three-point rule is divided by the number of games played and the quotient is rounded to two decimal places.
The list is in chronological order. It can also be sorted by the coach's last name.
