The constituency of Torgau was a state electoral district for the state elections in Saxony in 1990 , the first state election after the re-establishment of the state of Saxony. It had constituency number 4. For the 1994 state elections , the constituency structure was also changed as a result of the district reform, and the number of constituencies was reduced from 80 to 60. The area of the constituency of Torgau became part of the constituency of Torgau-Oschatz .
The constituency comprised the following municipalities and cities in the Torgau district : Arzberg , Beckwitz , Beilrode , Belgern , Blumberg , Bockwitz , Döbern , Döbrichau , Dommitzsch , Elsnig , Falkenberg , Graditz , Großtreben , Großwig , Klitzschen , Kobershain , Langenreichenbach , Lausa , Liebersee , Loßwig , Mahitzschen , Mehderitzsch , Melpitz , Neiden , Neußen , Probsthain , Schildau , Sitzenroda , Staritz , Staupitz , Süptitz , Taura , Torgau , Trossin , Weidenhain , Weßnig , Wohlau , Wörblitz , Zinna and Zwethau .
