Werner Zeussel

Werner Zeussel (born November 14, 1941 in Munich ; † October 8, 2009 ) was a German folk actor and playwright .

Life

Werner Zeussel has been involved in several well-known television series since the late 1970s , including The Millionaire Farmer (with Walter Sedlmayr ), Die Hausmeisterin , Tatort and Der Bulle von Tölz . He was best known for his role as the singing caretaker Stürzlinger ("Freedom lives in the mountains") in the children's series Meister Eder and his Pumuckl (with Gustl Bayrhammer ). He embodied the same character in 1994 in the movie Pumuckl and the Blue Klabauter . The actor was a member of the Komödienstadel ensemble and was last seen in 2006 in the successful ARD series Um Himmels Willen alongside Fritz Wepper and Jutta Speidel . He was married to the actress Eva Hatzelmann-Zeussel .

His final resting place (grave 97-5-16) is in Munich's Ostfriedhof in the Obergiesing-Fasangarten district .
