This will be the Bruins 84th season. The Bruins hope to rebound after playing a tough series against their rivals, the Montreal Canadiens. The future looks promising with their young stars, the return of Patrice Bergeron,and acquiring Micheal Ryder, a 30 goal scorer. The Bruins begin their season on the road on October 9, 2008, in Colorado versus the Avalanche, and the home opener is October 20, 2008, against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
