The 13th Royal Saxon Infantry Regiment No. 178 was an infantry unit of the Saxon Army .

history

The history goes back to the installation on April 1st, 1897.

The regiment took part in the First World War, first on the Western Front , then on the Eastern Front and finally again in the West.

On April 1, 1919, the 178 Infantry Regiment was disbanded after demobilization in Kamenz .
