The Schanze section fortification is located in the Fischbach district of the Upper Palatinate town of Nittenau in the Schwandorf district of Bavaria . The facility is located 1000 m south-southeast of Fischbach in the private forest department Schanze.
description
The section fortification lies on a narrow and steep mountain ridge between the Dellerbach and a western tributary. To the south of a light saddle is a neck ditch about 5 m deep . The cut ridge is about 80 m long and 13 m wide.
