The listed old castle Schwarzenfeld (also called Plankenfelser Schlösschen ) is located in the Upper Palatinate municipality of Schwarzenfeld in the Schwandorf district of Bavaria (Kirchstrasse 27-37).

history

The first palace or castle in Schwarzenfeld was built by Conrad Pullenhofer in 1372 and then passed into the possession of the Plankenfelser from 1389 to 1586 . These expanded the rather inconspicuous building and added four towers in the 15th century, which were probably destroyed during the Thirty Years War . In 1642 modifications were made by Hans Friedrich Teuffel von Birkensee . In 1707 a fire destroyed the castle and the surrounding buildings, so that it had to be completely rebuilt elsewhere . A new building (called the Plankenfelser Schlössl ) was built on the foundations of the former castle . In 1814 Baron von Bernclau sold the building to the Ruidisch family , and since 1938 it has been owned by the Lindner family .

Structural features of the old Schwarzenfeld Castle

The former castle is divided into several individual sections, which are separated from each other in color and with pilaster strips . The two-storey building is partly a hipped roof . One of the buildings has a bay window on the street side.
