Adam Gnezda Čerin (born July 16, 1999 ) is a Slovenian football player .

Career

society

Gnezda Čerin started his career at NK Bravo . For the 2014/15 season he moved to NK Domžale . In July 2017 he made his debut for the Domžale professionals in the 1st SNL when he was in the starting line-up against NK Celje on matchday two of the 2017/18 season. In his first season with the professionals, he came to eleven first division appearances. In September 2018 he scored his first goal in the Slovenian top division in a 4-0 win against NK Krško . In the 2018/19 season he made a total of 35 appearances in which he scored seven goals.

In September 2019 Gnezda Čerin moved to Germany for the second division club 1. FC Nürnberg , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2023. In the same month he came against Karlsruher SC for his first appearance in the 2nd Bundesliga .

National team

Gnezda Čerin played for a Slovenian youth national team for the first time in September 2014. In March 2015 he made his debut against Croatia for the U-17 team . For this he played 14 games by March 2016 and scored four goals. Between August 2016 and June 2017 he played eleven times for the U-18 team .

In August 2017, he made his debut against the United Arab Emirates for the U-19 team . For this he came to six assignments by October 2017. In September 2018 he was used against Kazakhstan for the first time for the U-21 selection of Slovenia .

In January 2019, he played a game for the Slovenian B national team against a Chinese selection . In October 2019 he stood against Macedonia for the first time in the squad of the senior team .
