Alex Moser

Alex Moser , also known as Alexander Moser (born 1979 in Burgenland ) is an Austrian hair stylist who lives and works in Vienna .

career

Moser learned his trade in the three most famous salons in Vienna - Bundy Bundy , Grecht and Erich Joham . From 1999 to 2000 he was employed at the Theater an der Wien , as a hairstylist for the musical Mozart! . He then completed his training at Toni & Guy in Vienna and Stuttgart. In 2006 began a five-year cooperation with the Less is more salon . At the same time, Moser worked as a freelancer for print, film and television production, both for editorials and for classic advertising. Moser has been working increasingly for German-language and international film productions since 2014. He also gave and gives a series of seminars for Schwarzkopf , Landoll and Elite and teaches young hairstylists from all over Austria.

Moser has worked for a number of commercial customers, including Austrian Airlines , Casinos Austria , Coca-Cola light , Europay International , Ford Fusion , Frey Wille , Danone , Dorotheum , Möbel Lutz , ÖBB , Ottakringer , Silhouette and Wiener Linien , as well as with the fashion companies Agent Provocateur , Diesel , Dsquared , Lena Hoschek , Levi's , Monkey on my Shoulder , Palmers , Triumph and Vivienne Westwood .

In the media sector, the hairstylist worked for Ö3 and the Romy Awards (presented by the Austrian daily Kurier ). He was the hairstylist for the TV show Austria's Next Topmodel on Puls 4 and was a member of the styling team of Austria's most famous charity event, the Life Ball . His editorials have appeared in all of Austria's major daily newspapers and magazines, such as Kronen Zeitung , Die Presse , DIVA , Woman and Wienerin . Moser worked with the fashion class at the Vienna University of Applied Arts and was a freelance make-up and hair-style artist at the Vienna Volksoper . In the course of his career, Moser has styled a number of prominent personalities, including the opera singer Anna Netrebko , the pianist Lang Lang , the song contest winner Conchita Wurst , the actresses Birgit Minichmayr , Eva Longoria , Nina Proll , Mallika Sherawat , Ursula Strauss , Franziska Weisz and Elke Winkens , the models Maggie Rizer , Iris Strubegger and Marcus Schenkenberg , as well as German-speaking TV stars such as Dieter Bohlen , Eva Pölzl and Mirjam Weichselbraun .

Moser deals with hair art. He was inspired by the hair artworks of the Romantic and Biedermeier periods . In 2015, Moser was selected as the artist to design the displays for the Steffl department store with his hair installations.

Moser has received several awards. His motto is: I love hair, it's my instrument.
