The castle Old Town is an Outbound Höhenburg ( Wallburg ) to 561.4  m above sea level. NN on the eastern edge of the wooded plateau of the Heilsberg about 1600 meters north-northeast of Gottmadingen in the district of Konstanz ( Baden-Württemberg ).

Only a semicircular wall is left of the former castle complex.
