Schlossbühl Castle

The castle Schlossbühl is an Outbound hilltop castle at 617.5  m above sea level. NHN near Bankholzen , a district of the municipality of Moos in the Baden-Württemberg district of Konstanz in Germany .

The castle was probably built during the 12th century by the Lords of Bankholzen as a successor to the castle on the Rusbühl , located around 1000 meters to the north . Ceramic finds are known from the former castle complex, which are dated to the Staufer period .
