history

The well-preserved castle tower, probably built around the turn of the 11th to the 12th century, was mentioned in a document in 1429. It served as a defense and residential tower as well as a warehouse. In 1902 the Spicher passed to the community of Honstetten and finally became state property. The Spicher has been privately owned again since 1992.

Building description

The three-story tower is the remainder of a fortified mansion. It is 15.5 meters high and has a base area of ​​nine by seven meters.
