The Bürglischloss , also called Burg Gailingen or Bürgli Schloss , is the ruin of a spur castle on a protruding 560 m above sea level. NN spur of the Rauhenberg about 1000 meters north of the community of Gailingen am Hochrhein in the district of Konstanz in Baden-Württemberg .
The castle was probably built around 1278 by the Lords of Gailingen. The 14.5 meter wide and 5 to 6 meter deep neck ditch is still preserved from the former castle complex . An observation tower has been located on the 1200 square meter area since 1998. With good visibility you can see from Vorarlberg to the Bernese Alps.
