Weiler Castle

The Burgweiler is an Outbound lowland castle on a slope to the valley of Mette Bach on the southwestern edge of the suburb hamlet of the village Moos in the district of Konstanz in Baden-Wuerttemberg .

The castle, whose use as a castle seat is unclear, was built in the 12th century and indirectly mentioned by a Constance ministerial from Weiler around 1158.

The castle hill with a height of 4 to 5 meters and a diameter of around 40 meters is still preserved from the former castle complex.
