The Hildisburg is an Outbound Höhenburg southwest of the hamlet Burgtal on a 645.5 m above sea level. NHN high spur of a 160 by 65 meter mountain plateau near Hindelwangen in the Baden-Württemberg district of Konstanz in Germany .
The castle complex , which was only 10 by 16 meters, presumably consisted of only one tower, which could indicate a tower castle . It was probably the seat of the Riwinus de [= von] Burctal , named between 1175 and 1191 , and later the castle belonged to the county of Nellenburg .
