The castle Kastenbühl close Bohlingen in Baden-Württemberg Konstanz district is an Outbound hilltop castle on the Schienerberg .

Geographical location

The place of the former castle Kastenbühl is about 1.5 km south-southwest of the church in the district Bohlingen of the city of Singen on one of the 587.4  m above sea level. NHN high northern spur of the Schiener Berg ( 715.6  m ).

History and description

The hillside castle was probably built in the 13th century on a 40 meter long castle plateau. Wall and moat remains and remains of a round tower are still preserved from the former castle complex .
