The Borken Office of the Landgraviate of Hesse administered the landgraviate possessions and the landgrave courts that were in the vicinity of the city ​​of Borken .

Later administrative reforms

These localities belonged to the Borken office until 1821. This year the offices of Homberg , Raboldshausen and Borken were merged to form the Homberg district. There were also shifts from localities to and from neighboring districts.

Judicial office

The Borken Office was converted into the Borken Justice Office. It was responsible for the courts of the Borken court , the court on the Efze , the court in the Vernegau and the court in den Hainen . It comprised 1 city, 15 villages and 2 farms.
