After completing the league, Viktoria Elbing and Marienburger SV were tied, so a playoff for the district championship was necessary. Due to a deadline, however, Viktoria Elbing was reported by the District Game Committee as a participant in District VI in the East Prussian football final. The playoff for the district championship did not take place until August 31, 1924, Elbing prevailed 6-0, but Marienburger SV successfully protested due to irregular space conditions. The replay, which was not played until November 19, 1924, Elbing won 4-1 after extra time.
