Bartsch

Bartsch is a German family name . At the end of the 19th century, the Bartsch were mainly represented in the eastern regions of the German Empire . This tribe was very common in Prussia, Poznan and Silesia. The cities of Berlin, Breslau, Danzig and Königsberg in particular became the center of life for many members of this family.

Origin and meaning

The surname Bartsch probably goes back to the homonymous short form of the first name Bartolomäus .
