Belœil is a municipality in the Belgian province of Hainaut .
Belœil consists of the towns of Basècles, Ramegnies, Thumaide, Wadelincourt, Aubechies, Ellignies-Sainte-Anne, Quevaucamps, Grandglise and Stambruges. So there is no place called Belœil, the municipality is named after the Belœil Castle , the castle of the Princes of Ligne . Another name found on old maps is bailleul. The municipal administration is based in Quevaucamps.
