The area Blue Lach is a Regulation of 23 March 1990 from the Regional Council Tübingen been instructed Nature Reserve (NSG number 4164) in the north of the town of Kusterdingen and east of the city of Tübingen in Tübingen district in Baden-Württemberg , Germany .
location
The approximately 12 hectare (ha) large nature reserve Blaulach belongs naturally to the middle Neckar valley . It is located below the hardness - a plateau between Neckar, Steinlach - and Echaztal , on which the place Kusterdingen is located. The area is located at an altitude of 310 m above sea level. NN . The Neckar-Alb-Bahn tracks run along the area .
Protection purpose
The main protection purpose is the preservation of the Neckaraltarm with its rare and threatened aquatic , marsh and bank plant communities and their animal populations, the upstream meadow area and a strip of natural hillside forest with small landslides and springs.
Landscape protection area
Located around the nature reserve is the reported December 15, 1961 341.1 hectare conservation area Neckartal between Tübingen and Plochingen (LSG no. 4.16.005). The Neckar Valley with its mostly wooded slopes and the old Neckar gravel that still occurs in places is considered worthy of protection.
