Postage stamps from 1936 issued by the Deutsche Reichspost
The brown band (block number 4) Visible watermark : MÜNCHEN / RIEM / 1936 |
The postage stamp year 1936 of the Deutsche Reichspost comprised 40 special stamps and a final supplementary value of the Paul von Hindenburg (III) permanent series at 80 Pf . A stamp was only issued in one stamp block. In contrast, the eight values of the two Olympic blocks also appeared separately, but were given their own catalog numbers due to the different paper used. Most of the stamps of this year had a surcharge . Reliable information on the number of copies of the stamps is not available.
