The Bundestag constituency Vogtlandkreis (constituency 166) is an electoral district in Saxony . It includes the Vogtlandkreis . For the federal election in 2005 it was named 168 Vogtland - Plauen , since the federal election in 2009 it was named 167 Vogtlandkreis and for the federal election in 2013 it was given the new constituency number 166 with the same name.

history
Since Saxony lost one constituency in the 2009 Bundestag election and a major district reform took place in Saxony in 2008 , most of the Saxon constituencies were redefined. The Vogtland District constituency did not change in terms of area, only its name and number were adjusted.
