Güggelsperg Castle

The castle Güggelsperg even Guggelsberg or Gickelsberg called, is a Outbound Turmhügelburg on the "Güggelsberg" in the deserted village "Göggel mountain". The mountain is located on the high edge of the Wutach Gorge in the district of Wutach -Ewattingen near Wutach-Münchingen in the Waldshut district in Baden-Württemberg .

Nothing has survived from the hilltop castle , which could have been commissioned by the St. Gallen monastery and probably only had a wooden residential tower surrounded by palisades .
