Chicago Film Critics Association Award / Best Screenplay
Winner and nominee for the Chicago Film Critics Association Awards in the former Best Screenplay category . Every year in mid-December, the American Film Critics Association announces its awards for the best film productions and filmmakers of the current calendar year. As in the case of the Oscar or Golden Globe awards, these are selected from five nominees. The Best Screenplay category existed between 1990 and 2005. Today, prizes are awarded in the categories Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Original Screenplay .
