Cumbernauld, Kilsyth and Kirkintilloch East is a constituency for the British House of Commons . It was created in the course of the 2005 constituency reform from the former constituency of Cumbernauld and Kilsyth and parts of Strathkelvin and Bearsden . Cumbernauld, Kilsyth and Kirkintilloch East covers areas of the Council Areas North Lanarkshire and East Dunbartonshire with the eponymous towns of Cumbernauld and Kilsyth . The constituency sends a representative.
