Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale is a constituency for the British House of Commons . It was created in the course of the 2005 constituency reform from the former constituencies of Dumfriesshire , Clydesdale and Tweeddale, Ettrick and Lauderdale . Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale covers areas of the Council Areas Dumfries and Galloway , Scottish Borders and South Lanarkshire with the cities of Annan , Biggar , Gretna , Langholm , Lockerbie , Moffat and Peebles . The constituency sends a representative.
